About me
Art first, then teaching, then both together.
Art has been my passion since I was young, and I was always looking for the next thing to sketch or paint. It runs in the family. My mom promised herself she'd guide her future kids into art, and she did, encouraging me and my younger brother to follow our own creative paths. Pappyland and Pappy Drewitt's drawing tips in the late '90s, plus a steady supply of paper, pencils, and crayons, got us started.
I moved through fine art painting, ink drawing, and sculpture, then taught myself Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. That opened up digital art, graphic design, and freelance work. At the library I discovered how much I love teaching, building training programs and helping patrons with technology.
Today I'm an instructional designer at Westgate Resorts, blending my passion for art with my expertise in eLearning, and continuing to grow in the Learning and Development field.
